Get those front-facing cameras and bright smiles ready, because a selfie museum has opened in Cincinnati.
Selfie Galaxy, located at 5084 Glencrossing Way in Westwood, officially opened June 24. It's not necessarily a museum in the traditional sense, but rather a center with a variety of sets, lighting and backdrops that allow visitors to take the perfect group picture or selfie.
There are over 20 different themes currently at Selfie Galaxy, and the selfie museum plans to change some rooms every few months to keep the experience fresh. There's also space for local artists to showcase their work, with art from four new artists after every turnover.

It's a Black and Latino-owned business by best friends Valadia Lee and Zorimar Alicea, who want to create a space where "fun, creativity, harmony and authenticity take place," according to the Selfie Galaxy website.
Cincinnati's other selfie center, Selfie City, is currently closed and plans to reopen at an unspecified date in 2022, according to its website.
A general admission ticket for an hour at Selfie Galaxy is $20 for ages 13 and older. For children 3-12, child add-ons are $10 each, and children 2 and under are free. All ages are welcome to attend Selfie Galaxy, but children 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
A photographer/videographer gallery rental is $75 for an hour.
Once inside Selfie Galaxy, you can take your own photos, but there are also staff who can assist. Visitors should bring their own cell phone or camera and can also bring a wireless ring light and stand.
Private events are allowed, but must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Gallery rentals will have different hours than regular operating hours.
Selfie Galaxy is open 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. They're closed Monday and Tuesday.
