A man has been arrested in connection to a crash in Batavia that killed a woman and an infant Sunday afternoon.Court documents say Juan Jimenez, the driver of the car that the woman, Maria Rodriguez, and the infant were passengers in, traveled left-of-center and struck another vehicle head-on.Documents say troopers detected alcohol on Jimenez's breath at the scene and told troopers at the hospital that he had a "large alcoholic beverage" earlier in the day at a restaurant. Officials add that Jimenez did not have a valid driver's license at the time of the crash.Jimenez has been charged with two counts of first-degree felony aggravated vehicular homicide, driving while under the influence and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.The driver and passenger of the car Jimenez hit both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
