Former Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth, who announced his retirement from the NFL in March after 16 seasons in the league - 11 of them with Cincinnati - is expected to be part of the studio team for Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" coverage, according to a report Monday from NYpost.com's Ryan Glasspiegel.

After playing the past five seasons for the Los Angeles Rams, Whitworth, 40, won his first Super Bowl ring - as the oldest starting left tackle in NFL history - when the Rams defeated the Bengals on Feb. 13.

During his Walter Payton Man of the Year award acceptance speech at the "NFL Honors" show in February, Whitworth told a memorable story about Detroit Lions linebacker and former Holy Cross High School standout Derrick Barnes.
