NBA Summer League rosters include players who starred at Greater Cincinnati high schools, as well as for the Xavier Musketeers and Cincinnati Bearcats.
Top performers so far include former Aiken High School standout Carlik Jones, who was 7-for-7 from the field with 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and a steal in 21 minutes in the Chicago Bulls' 93-83 win Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors.
Former Xavier Musketeers standout Tyrique Jones had 11 points, nine rebounds and four blocks in the New Orleans Pelicans' win Monday against the Atlanta Hawks. On Wednesday against the Wizards, Jones had nine points with 15 rebounds (including 10 offensive rebounds), three assists and two steals.
Former UC Bearcats standout Tari Eason had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the Houston Rockets' 97-84 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.
Former Moeller High School standout Miles McBride had 16 points, four assists and three steals in the New York Knicks' 88-77 loss to Portland on Monday.
And when the Bulls faced the Knicks on Sunday, Jones was 5-of-6 from the field with 13 points, and McBride was 6-of-8 from the field with 14 points, with three rebounds, six assists and three steals.
