Kentucky Wildcats guard CJ Fredrick, an Iowa transfer and former Covington Catholic High School standout, made 11 consecutive 3-pointers during practice in a video shared via Twitter on Tuesday by the UK men's basketball account.
Fredrick missed the 2021-22 college basketball season after undergoing surgery to repair a hamstring injury that he suffered days after winning the 3-point shootout at Big Blue Madness.

Fredrick announced last May he would continue his career for the Wildcats after playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes for two seasons. He reportedly received interest from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Xavier Musketeers, and several other schools before committing to UK.
Fredrick scored 21 in the Hawkeyes' win against UC in Dec. 2019.
As a sophomore, Fredrick averaged 7.5 points in 24.7 minutes per game and shot 47.4 percent from 3-point range in 27 games. As a redshirt freshman for the Hawkeyes, he averaged 10.2 points per game and shot 46.1 percent from 3-point range in 25 games.
Fredrick led CovCath to the 2018 KHSAA Sweet 16 state championship, and was a Mr. Basketball finalist.
Fredrick's teammate at Iowa, Jack Nunge, transferred to Xavier and averaged 13.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in 36 games for the Musketeers last season.
