The Villa Hills Police Department says they have charged a Cincinnati man on multiple charges after he ran from a crash in Crescent Springs.Police say around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, officials responded to the area of Buttermilk Pike and Grandview Drive for a two-vehicle crash with injuries.Officials say responding officers were notified that the driver of one of the cars had fled the scene and run towards the rear of a business located on Buttermilk Crossing.Authorities say 24-year-old Nicholas Seissiger was located behind the business with severe facial lacerations and obvious trauma to his legs and feet. Officials say Seissiger misjudged the height of the drop-off from the wall behind Buttermilk Crossing and fell about 35 feet to the ground.Police say due to his injuries, Seissiger was transported to UC Medical Center via helicopter with non-life-threatening injuries.According to officials, a preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Seissiger, was traveling westbound on Buttermilk Pike when he failed to negotiate a right turn onto Grandview Drive.Police say Seissiger lost control of his car and hit a 2003 Buick Rendezvous that was stopped at the traffic light on Grandview Drive. Officials say the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Elizabeth Edgewood for treatment.Authorities say officers found a container next to Seissiger with a cut straw and a transparent plastic bag containing two grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl.Police say they have charged Seissiger with possession of a controlled substance, criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia and wanton endangerment.
