A man has been charged after soliciting a police officer who was posing online as a child, court records allege.According to court documents, Carl Dawson, 60, attempted to solicit sexual activity from a person he was contacting online and believed to be under the age of 13.Documents say the person on the other end of the communication was, in actuality, a police officer posing as a child.Dawson has been charged with one count of importuning.
