Have a night, C.J. Uzomah!
Uzomah scored two touchdowns and had a huge 25-yard reception with about one minute left to set up Evan McPherson's game-winning field goal as time expired in the Bengals' 24-21 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night at Paul Brown Stadium.
Uzomah celebrated a memorable night by jumping into the crowd and, well, sharing a beer with a fan, as he told NFL Network's Kristina Pink afterward.
"The guy was offering it to me so I just took it real quick, grabbed a swig and threw it back at him," Uzomah said. "Yeah it was - seems fitting."
"We have a great dialogue," Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow told NFL Network analysts after the game of his relationship with Uzomah. "I always talk about dialogue when it comes to receivers. You want to create a conversation after routes. Whether you miss it or you hit it, come back and talk about it - talk about why you hit it, or why you didn't. We have a great dialogue. And I just trust him to be where he is, where he's going to be and where I want him to."
