BLUE ASH, Ohio — One person is dead after they crashed their vehicle into a utility pole and tree in Blue Ash Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a man driving a Jeep northbound on Kenwood Road near Belleview Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. went left of center, hitting a utility pole and a tree. Power lines fell on top of a Sycamore Community Schools bus.
The man driving the Jeep was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The students, bus driver and aide on the bus were not injured.
Police shut down Kenwood Road from YMCA Drive to Donjoy Drive as Duke Energy repairs the pole.
Blue Ash police are investigating the crash with help from the Hamilton County Traffic Unit.
