In an election brimming with consequence, Issue 3 deserves your attention.
The amendment would change Cincinnati's charter in multiple, substantial ways, from how council members are paid to limiting the mayor's power to set council's agenda.
It's a complex initiative, so we broke it into seven parts, analyzing each piece separately.

International Freedom Conductor Awards
The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center will honor its International Freedom Conductor Award recipients during a gala this Saturday.
The award recognizes people who have made a positive difference in contemporary freedom issues.
Actor George Clooney, who has deep local ties, is among the recipients, as is his wife Amal Clooney, a human rights attorney, Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, and John Lewis, a Congressman and civil rights icon, who died last year.
