Cincinnati police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the death of a man found fatally shot in Mount Airy earlier this month.
Police discovered Derrick Ferrell, 32, with a gunshot wound about 1 a.m. June 10 in the 2500 block of North Bend Road.
Ferrell, last known to live in North College Hill, was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and died there June 10, according to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office.
Police said in a news release that officers arrested the 17-year-old June 22. The release does not say what the teen is charged with. The Enquirer is not naming the boy because he is being charged in juvenile court.
The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about Ferrell's death is asked to call police at 513-352-3542.
