Fairfield police investigating after employee abducted from Walmart


Fairfield police say they are investigating a possible abduction after a person was taken from their workplace at gunpoint Tuesday night.Officials say around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to Walmart in the 4000 block of Red Bank Road in regards to a possible abduction.Authorities say officers were told at the scene that two Walmart employees were approached at gunpoint by a person dressed in all-black clothing and wearing a ski mask.According to police, one of the employees fled the scene in his vehicle, but the other was forced into the suspect's vehicle. Officials say a second suspect entered the victim's vehicle and the two cars left the parking lot.Officials say Cincinnati police officers located the victim in the area of West Fork Road and Colerain Avenue. Police say the victim told them he was forced out of the vehicle in the 2400 block of Mustang Drive and sustained a minor injury after being hit by a gun.Police say the suspect's vehicle, a silver Dodge Durango with broken taillights and a broken rear window on the passenger side, has been located and is being held for processing.The victim's car, a gray 2003 two-door Infiniti, is still being sought by police, officials say.The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not released the identification or identifying features of either suspect.
