Cincinnati Public Schools announces purchase of former elementary school building


Cincinnati Public Schools is expanding.The school district announced that it has purchased the former Bramble Elementary School building on Homer Avenue.CPS said the decision was made based on the growing population in the Madisonville area, and the need for additional early childhood education centers.The building is set to open in the fall and will serve Pre-K students.According to CPS, the school will not serve any other grades right now but will expand based on feedback and community needs.CPS plans to prepare classrooms, hire staff members and register students. Early registration for pre-K students starts July 10.
