In the war between which ice cream brand is superior, President Biden has made the final decree.
The commander-in-chief's granddaughter expressed the president's love for Cincinnati-based Graeter's Ice Cream in the Winter 2022 edition of Vogue magazine. In an exclusive article about Naomi Biden's White House wedding, the magazine states that the brand's chocolate chip ice cream is President Biden's flavor of choice.

Naomi Biden, the president's granddaughter and newlywed, told Vogue that the president used to be a Breyers fan, but now he's loyal to the beloved local parlor, calling it an "upgrade."
The president loves the local brand so much that it was featured on the dessert table of the wedding reception, Vogue reported.
According to a White House press release, the president and first lady hosted the wedding of their granddaughter to her long-time boyfriend Peter George Heermann Neal on Nov. 19. The wedding ceremony, which included approximately 250 guests, took place at 11 a.m. on the South Lawn.
Theirs was the 19th wedding to happen on White House grounds since 1800, and Naomi Biden was the first grandchild to get married. She and her husband live at the White House along with the president and First Lady.

“It has been a joy to watch Naomi grow, discover who she is, and carve out such an incredible life for herself,” said Biden and First Lady Jill Biden in a statement. “Now, we are filled with pride to see her choose Peter as her husband, and we’re honored to welcome him to our family. We wish them days full of laughter and a love that grows deeper with every passing year.”
The Bidens also hosted a luncheon for the family and wedding party in the state dining room of the White House. A reception with dessert, including the hometown ice cream and dancing, took place later that evening.
Although Graeter's seems to be a fan-favorite for the head of state, Biden did not stop at the ice cream shop during his 2021 or 2022 visits to the Queen City. According to a previous Enquirer article, the ice cream-loving president did not visit a Graeter's location in 2021, despite having some time in his schedule between a tour of the IBEW/NECA Electrical Training Center and his town hall at Mount St. Joseph University.
