Late in the second quarter of Sunday's AFC Championship rematch between Cincinnati and Kansas City, Bengals safety Jessie Bates III went down in the end zone with an injury with the Chiefs threatening to score.
CBS' Jim Nantz and Tony Romo said during the broadcast that Bates wasn't very convincing as his injury stopped the game for several moments.
"Look at this, watch," Romo said. "They're substituting and they're late. 'Bates, go down! Go down! Go down! Oh, I got a cramp. Oooh, that one really hurts. Ah, let me get off. Okay.' That wasn't fake at all."
"You've got to carry out the fake though all the way to the sideline, don't you?" Nantz said. "If you're gonna just stride to the sideline without a limp at all."
"Yeah, you do," Romo added.

The Chiefs scored three plays later on Jerick McKinnon's 2-yard touchdown run. The Bengals beat Kansas City for the third time this calendar year, 27-24.
