Patchy fog develops overnight

Dense fog develops overnight with a slight chance of rain. Higher rain chances expected tomorrow night.

A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN OUT THERE AND I GUESS THE QUESTION IS, HOW IS IT GOING TO BE WHEN YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR TOMORROW? WE’VE GOT OUR METEOROLOGIST ALISON ROGERS IN WITH THE ANSWERS. AND I DON’T LIKE WHAT I’M SEEING HERE ON THIS BIG BOARD BEHIND YOU. YES. SO IT’S GOING TO BE FOGGY EARLY IN THE MORNING TOMORROW. ON TOP OF THAT, IT’S ALSO GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT DAMP FOR FROM SOME OF THE LIGHT SHOWERS THAT ARE GOING TO BE MOVING THROUGH OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. SO THAT LIGHT RAIN IS STILL A POSSIBILITY TONIGHT, BUT I THINK MORE SO IN TERMS OF WHAT’S GOING TO IMPACT YOUR MORNING COMMUTE TOMORROW. THAT IS GOING TO BE THE FOG AND THERE IT IS RIGHT THERE. KIND OF ALREADY STARTING TO SET UP ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI. NOW, OF COURSE, THIS CAMERA IS A COUPLE OF HUNDRED FEET IN THE SKY. BUT STILL, THIS IS SHOWING US WHAT TOMORROW MORNING IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE FOR A COUPLE OF US, BECAUSE I DO EXPECT TO SEE VISIBILITY IN SOME NEIGHBORHOODS DROPPING DOWN TO A MILE, IF NOT EVEN LESS THAN A MILE. SO THAT IS GOING TO BE SOME DENSE FOG THAT WE’LL HAVE TO DEAL WITH TOMORROW MORNING, DOWN TO ABOUT FOUR MILES AT CVG. RIGHT NOW, FOUR IN HAMILTON, LUNKEN AIRPORT SEEING VISIBILITY DOWN TO SIX AND WE’VE GOT VISIBILITY DOWN TO ABOUT THREE MILES IN WILMINGTON SO FAR. SO YOU’LL WANT TO PLAN FOR THIS TOMORROW MORNING, MAYBE WAKE UP A LITTLE BIT EARLY OR TRY TO GET OUT THE DOOR ABOUT A 15 MINUTES OR SO EARLIER THAN NORMAL JUST BECAUSE THAT FOG IS GOING TO SLOW YOU DOWN. ON TOP OF THAT, WE STILL HAVE THE CHANCE. WE’RE SEEING A COUPLE OF SHOWERS DEVELOPING THROUGHOUT SOME NEIGHBORHOODS. I EXPECT, THOUGH, MOST OF THE RAIN TONIGHT IS GOING TO BE CONCENTRATED IN AREAS SOUTH AND EAST OF I-70, ONE KIND OF WHERE WE’RE SEEING IT SET UP RIGHT NOW. SO CURRENTLY WE DO HAVE A FEW AREAS OF SOME LIGHT RAINFALL MOVING THROUGH ADAMS COUNTY, HIGHLAND COUNTY, PARTS OF BROWN COUNTY AS WELL. NOW, THIS ISN’T TO SAY THAT WE’RE NOT GOING TO SEE ANY RAIN IN THE METRO OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. BUT I DO STILL THINK A LOT OF THAT RAINFALL CONCENTRATED SOUTH AND EAST OF I-70 ONE. EVEN WITH THAT, IT’S NOT GOING TO BE A WASHOUT OF A NIGHT TOMORROW NIGHT, THOUGH, IT IS LOOKING A LITTLE BIT MORE WIDESPREAD. RIGHT NOW, TEMPERATURES ARE AROUND 44 DEGREES. IT’S 42 IN HARRISON. WE’RE SITTING AT 44. AND HAMILTON IN THE LOW TO MID FORTIES IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY AS WELL AND WILL LIKELY STAY HERE FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. TEMPERATURES ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO BE PRETTY STEADY. SOME OF US DROPPED DOWN TO ABOUT 42 TONIGHT FOR THAT LOW BY ABOUT 9:00 IN THE MORNING. TOMORROW, WE STILL HAVE THE FOG AROUND AND TEMPERATURES ARE JUST GOING TO BE AROUND 45 DEGREES AND THAT’S IT. THEN BY ABOUT 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON, WE’LL START TO WARM UP A LITTLE BIT MORE, TRYING TO BREAK INTO THE LOW FIFTIES. TOMORROW AFTERNOON. BUT THAT FOG IS GOING TO STICK AROUND FOR QUITE SOME TIME, EVEN AFTER THE FOG CLEARS OUT OF HERE. LOOKS LIKE IT’S STILL GOING TO BE QUITE CLOUDY FOR A LOT OF US. THEN TOMORROW NIGHT. BY THIS TIME, WE’LL HAVE WIDESPREAD RAIN MOVING INTO THE AREA. IN FACT, BY THIS TIME, I EXPECT THE WIDESPREAD RAIN TO BE ALREADY IMPACTING SEVERAL OF US THROUGHOUT GREATER CINCINNATI. SO YOU’LL SEE HERE IN FUTURE CAST A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH TONIGHT. NOT GOING TO BE A WASHOUT, BUT SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND EARLY IN THE MORNING TOMORROW. WE STILL COULD HAVE A COUPLE OF SPOTTY SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH THROUGHOUT THE DAY. MOST OF US ARE GOING TO BE DRY, BUT THERE IS THAT POTENTIAL THAT WE COULD END UP SEEING AN ISOLATED SHOWER DEVELOPING TOMORROW AFTERNOON, GENERALLY CLOSER TO I-70, ONE THROUGHOUT OHIO. OTHERWISE, TOMORROW NIGHT, STARTING AROUND 10:00 OR SO, THIS IS WHEN WE ARE GOING TO SEE SOME WIDESPREAD RAIN MOVING INTO THE AREA. YOU CAN KIND OF SEE IT SKIRTING BY THERE, BUT I EXPECT THAT TO BE IMPACTING MUCH OF GREATER CINCINNATI TOMORROW. SOME WIDESPREAD RAINFALL POSSIBLY. WELL, SOUTH OF US, CLOSER TO SOUTH OF THE 7175 SPLIT, EVEN AREAS LIKE GRANT COUNTY AND PENDLETON COUNTY, YOU COULD HEAR A LITTLE BIT OF THUNDER OFTEN THE DISTANCE. BUT FOR TONIGHT, I EXPECT THOSE RAIN CHANCES TO REMAIN RELATIVELY LOW. TOMORROW MORNING, MUCH OF THE SAME. AND THEN TOMORROW EVENING, THAT RAIN CHANCE IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT MORE IMPACTFUL AGAIN LATER IN THE NIGHT, CLOSER TO ABOUT 10:00 OR SO. AND THEN STARTING TO TRY TO WRAP UP BY WEDNESDAY MORNING. I DON’T EXPECT IT TO BE TOO BAD WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUT STILL, THERE COULD BE A LINGERING SHOWER STICKING AROUND. AND THEN THURSDAY IS GOING TO BE THE WEATHER IMPACT DAY OF THE WEEK. THIS IS WHEN WE’LL SEE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS RETURNING THURSDAY AFTERNOON. AFTER THAT, A FRONT SWEEPS THROUGH ON FRIDAY, GIVING US A LITTLE BIT OF MORE RAINFALL FRIDAY MORNING. OTHERWISE, WE WILL START TO DRY OUT FOR TH
