2 arrested, 1 with homicide warrant out of Indiana, after chase ends in Camp Washington


A chase on the interstate ended in the arrest of two people, including a person with a homicide warrant in a county more than four hours away. Two people were taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center overnight. Cincinnati police say the arrests started with officers chasing a stolen car heading down I-75 near Mitchell Avenue.Authorities say that car came to a stop after crashing on Hopple Street, through the exit on I-75 south.Police say a passenger ran across the road and was tased before police could make an arrest. Officials have not said who that person is or what charges they may face.Officers say the driver of the car, 27-year-old Dominique Weaver, has a warrant out for a homicide out of Porter County, Indiana, about an hour southeast of downtown Chicago.On top of that warrant, Weaver faces other charges of driving the stolen car and leading police on a chase.WLWT has reached out to the Porter County sheriff for more information on Weaver and that homicide warrant, but we have not been able to reach anyone who can give us more information.This is a developing story.
