New York Jets star rookie defensive back Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, a former University of Cincinnati Bearcats standout, tweeted Wednesday that he's looking for a Damar Hamlin jersey to wear before his team's Week 18 game Sunday against the Dolphins in Miami.
Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin tweeted the reply, "We got you!"
Gardner responded that he appreciated Rubin's offer and asked for him to send it to the Jets' facility.
Donations for Hamlin's Chasing M's Foundation surpassed $7 million early Thursday. There was a $5,000 donation from "Sauce Gardner," as well as $25,003 from Jim Irsay and the Indianapolis Colts and $18,003 from Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots.
Earlier, Gardner had tweeted a link to the GoFundMe for the foundation.
Fanatics announced that proceeds from Hamlin's jersey sales will be donated to the foundation as well.
Pro Football Focus tweeted that Hamlin's jersey has been one of the highest-selling jerseys this week.
