First responders were on the scene of a crash that shut down both sides of Interstate 74 in West Harrison Monday afternoon. According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, I-74 was closed in both directions for more than 3 hours between State Route 1 and Longnecker Road. All lanes have now reopened.Dearborn County Dispatch said the crash involved a semi-truck and a van on the eastbound side of the interstate at approximately 4:45 p.m. The van involved in the crash ended up on the westbound side of I-74 and the semi-truck was stuck on the concrete barrier, according to dispatch.
