The parade will begin at VFW post 6423, then travel down Dixie Highway to Stevenson Road before stopping at the Vietnam Veterans’ War Memorial. Following the stop, there will be a short program at Forest Lawn Cemetery accompanied with a speech by the mayor and a 21-gun salute.
All are invited to the VFW Post following the ceremony for refreshments.
Evanston
Where: Evanston Recreation Center
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 31
The parade, hosted by the Evanston Community Council , will start at the Evanston Recreation Center and make a two-mile loop through the community: left on Fairfax Avenue, left on Evanston Avenue and left on Hewitt Avenue.
The parade will be followed by a community celebration with information tables and activities at the recreation center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Harrison
Where: Harrison Elementary School, 600 E. Broadway St.
When: 10 a.m. May 31
Hosted by the Harrison Memorial Association , parade lineups will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the parade starting at 10 a.m. It will proceed to Glen Haven Cemetery for memorial services.
Irish Heritage Center of Greater Cincinnati
Where: 3905 Eastern Ave.
When: 4 to 7 p.m. May 31
An outdoor celebration Mass , with stories and memories to follow in the Thatched Roof Irish Pub.
Loveland
Where: Veterans' Memorial, 211 Riverside Drive in Loveland
When: 9 a.m. May 31
The City of Loveland Veterans’ Memorial Committee will be hosting a parade, beginning 9 a.m. at Loveland Elementary School, 600 Loveland Madeira Road.
After the parade, a ceremony will be held at the Veterans’ Memorial.
Newport
Where: Newport City Building, 998 Monmouth St.

The Lawler-Hanlon VFW Post will honor the fallen with a 21-gun salute.
Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum
Where: 4521 Spring Grove Ave.
When: 11 a.m. May 31
The Sons of Union Veterans will be hosting a Memorial Day ceremony in the Civil War section, Section 21.
Enter from Spring Grove Avenue and continue under the railroad arch for parking. Limited, spaced-out seating will be provided under tents. Please bring your own chair or blanket.
Sycamore
Where: Silverton Veterans’ Memorial Park
When: 10 a.m. May 31
A joint event with Deer Park, Silverton and Sycamore Township , the parade lineup will begin at 9:15 a.m. at Silverton Veterans’ Memorial Park. The “tentative” parade route will travel north on Ohio Avenue, east on Webster Avenue, north on Blue Ash Road stopping at Chamberlin Park and on to Sycamore Road, ending at Bechtold Park.
The Village of Silverton will dedicate a new public art piece at the corner of Montgomery and Highland Avenue at 9 a.m.
West Chester
Where: Olde West Chester
When: 10 a.m. May 31
The parade, hosted by American Legion Post 681 and VFW Post 7696 , will make its way down Cincinnati-Dayton Road through the historic Old West Chester business district to West Chester (Brookside) Cemetery for a special remembrance ceremony.
Members of the West Chester/Union Township Historical Society will read aloud the names of all veterans interred at the ceremony, including 100 Civil War veterans and one Revolutionary War veteran.
