Marques Warrick makes buzzer-beater to lead NKU over Cleveland State

Marques Warrick's 3-pointer Thursday night led NKU over Horizon League rival Cleveland State.

Northern Kentucky's Marques Warrick hit a deep 3-pointer as time expired to give the Norse a 57-56 win over Cleveland State Thursday night.

NKU's Sam Vinson hurried the ball up the court with the Norse trailing 56-54 before dishing it off to Warrick who drained a 3-pointer from the logo to win the game.

Warrick scored a game-high 19 points, including making 4 of 5 3-pointers he attempted. Vinson chipped in with 16 and Xavier Rhodes had eight points and a game-high six assists.

Tristan Enaruna had 15 points in a losing effort for Cleveland State.
