One person has died after a fiery crash in Highland County on Sunday.According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Old-Aker Road near Lynchburg on Sunday morning.Officials said William Horn-Shmyer was trying to drive around a curve and ended up going off the left side of the road.Troopers say he hit several trees before his car caught on fire. He died at the scene.Authorities said Horn-Shmyer was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.No other occupants or vehicles were involved.The Highway Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Highland County Sheriff’s Office, Lynchburg Fire & EMS, Paint Creek Fire & EMS, the Highland County Emergency Management Agency and the Highland County Coroner’s Office.
