HE OWNS THE IMPOSSIBLE BARBERSHOP. HE SAID IT IS THE PERFECT WATCH -- PLACE TO WATCH THE CINCINNATI BENGALS. MULLINS SAID HE CHOSE THE LOCATION BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSE TO PAUL BROWN STADIUM, PAYCOR. HE SAYS THERE IS NO PLACE ELSE HE WOULD RATHER BE. HE HAS BEEN A DIEHARD ANGLE SPAN, WANTED TO RE-CREATE THE JUNGLE EXPERIENCE FOR HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO ENJOY. CREATING HIS OWN BENGALS DEN IN HIS BASEMENT. MULLINS STARTED FROM SCRATCH AND BUILT THE AREA COMLETE WITH MULTIPLE TDS, GAMING SYSTEMS, COMFY CHAIRS AND BENGALS DECORATIONS. HE TELLS US IT HAS BEEN HIS DREAM FOR A LONG TIME. Downtown Cincinnati barber transforms basement into Bengals den
While the Bengals' path to the Super Bowl will be determined on the road, the spirit of Bengals fans shines bright.William Munlin has been a lifelong Bengals fan. In 2016, he opened his barber shop called "Illest Barbers," choosing the downtown location because it was close to the Bengals stadium.Of course, Munlin wanted to share his love for the Orange and Black, recreating "The Jungle" experience for customers at the shop.He also created his own Bengals den in the basement of his home.He started from scratch and built the area, complete with multiple TVs and a gaming system.Munlin said this year was the time to do it, celebrating not only the team's success, but his artistic skills as well."I had never been able to do something like that and just putting it together from the shell, to the floors to the walls," Munlin said. "Kind of like the walls you see around here, I started designing how I did my shop, and the lights just maybe make it look a little bit better."The shop owner is preparing to host a watch party for Sunday's big game."Oh, we're going to have the biggest watch party in Cincinnati. So anybody and everybody is invited so come on through, you're invited, families invited, fans of other teams are invited, AFC north teams, anyone can come but you have to be Bengal ready," Munlin said.
