In a vote that ended Jan. 27, Cincinnati.com readers selected the Cincinnati Enquirer Athletes of the Week from high school sports action through Jan. 22.
Winners will receive certificates by the end of the sports season.
The Athlete of the Week voting occurs during all high school sports seasons and recognizes athletes across all sports.

Ohio boys basketball team of the week: Clermont Northeastern – The Rockets beat Georgetown 51-48 and Felicity-Franklin 61-49 to move to 7-1 in the conference.
Ohio girls basketball team of the week: Goshen – Goshen beat Western Brown 62-51 on Jan. 17 to force a tie with the Broncos atop the Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference American Division.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys basketball team of the week: Covington Catholic – The Colonels sit at 16-2 after topping Highlands, Lloyd Memorial and North Laurel.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball team of the week: Bishop Brossart – The Lady ‘Stangs extended their winning streak to seven games after topping Boone County, Lloyd and Newport Central Catholic by a combined 198-98.
Boys winter team of the week: Mason bowling – Mason beat Lebanon 2,911-2,475 and Middletown 2,813-2,306 to improve to 9-0 overall in matches and 5-0 in the GMC.
Girls winter team of the week: St. Henry swimming and diving – The girls took the top Division II team ranking at the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championship last week with a score of 464.
Ohio big-school boys basketball player of the week: Ben Golan, Mason – Golan earned a pair of doubles-doubles over the week, dropping 24 points and 13 rebounds over Springfield before a 15-point 11-rebound night against Fairfield.
Ohio small-school boys basketball player of the week: Jess Roller, Batavia – The junior had 27 points, 1 assist and 4 rebounds in a 65-63 win against Hughes High School Jan. 17.
Ohio big-school girls basketball player of the week: Cylee Leggett, Walnut Hills – After dropping 10 points with eight rebounds against Lebanon, Leggett had a career-high 20 points while grabbing seven boards in a 50-40 Eastern Cincinnati Conference win over Anderson Jan. 19.
Ohio small-school girls basketball player of the week: T’Asia Thomas, Cincinnati College Prep – Thomas had a career-high 20 points in a win against Lockland on Jan. 21.
Northern Kentucky boys basketball player of the week: Ayden Link, Covington Catholic – He had 16 points and eight rebounds in a win over Highlands, then contributed 10 points in a win over top-10 ranked North Laurel.
Northern Kentucky girls basketball player of the week: Olivia Lloyd, Bishop Brossart – She scored a career-high 20 points in a win over Newport Central Catholic. She went six-of-six from the three-point line and grabbed four rebounds.
Ohio boys bowler of the week: Quenton Morgan, La Salle – He led the Lancers with a 449 individual series and contributed to a perfect 300 Baker game in a win over St. Xavier.
Ohio girls bowler to the week: Kendall Cook, Mercy McAuley - She bowled a 364 series to lead the Wolves to a win against Ursuline. She also finished fifth overall at the Cardinal Classic with a 354 series.
Northern Kentucky boys bowler of the week: Tyler Blume, Simon Kenton – His 233 single game was the highest in the NKAC Division I, and his 411 series was the second-best.
Northern Kentucky girls bowler of the week: Mary Hollon, Simon Kenton – She eclipsed her season average of 139 with a 148 single game to go along with a 270 series.
Gymnast of the week: Addy Schultz, Lakota West - She finished third in the all-around category at the Elk Invitational. She finished eighth in the bars, second in the beam, fifth in the floor
Ice hockey player of the week: Aidan Albers, Mason – He scored two goals and got an assist in a 6-5 win over Toledo on Senior Night.
Ohio boys swimmer/diver of the week: Noah Horwitz, Anderson - The freshman diver finished third at the South West Classic and also won the Milford Diving Invitational with a personal-best score of 428 points for 11 dives.
Ohio girls swimmer/diver of the week: Anna Carroll, Mercy McAuley – She took first place in the 100 breaststroke in the meet against Oak Hills Jan. 19.
Northern Kentucky boys swimmer/diver of the week: Charlie Lange, St. Henry – He led off the 400-yard freestyle relay team win in Division II and won the 500-yard individual freestyle event at the NKAC Swimming and Diving Championship.
Northern Kentucky girls swimmer/diver of the week: Emma Littrell, St. Henry – The senior won the 100-yard butterfly and the 500-yard freestyle in Division II at the NKAC Swimming and Diving Championship. She also took part in the winning 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.
Ohio boys wrestler of the week: Tate Bein, Batavia – He won all five matches in the 132-pound weight class at the McDonalds Invitational. Four wins were by pin and one was by default. He also achieved his 100th pin during the tournament.
Ohio girls wrestler of the week: Addy Taylor, Fairfield – She won three of her five matches at the Lady Brave Invitational, with all three wins coming via pin.
NKY/IND wrestler of the week: Willie Rodriguez, Covington Catholic – He defeated the No. 1 ranked heavyweight wrestler in Kentucky to win his weight class at the South Oldham Invitational.
Boys archer of the week: Cameron Waltz, Beechwood – He took sixth place at the Scott Invitational, winning a tiebreaker with 14 tens and an overall score of 276.
Girls archer of the week: Maddisen Strunk, Dixie Heights – She picked up her second win of the season with a score of 282 at the Scott “Let ‘em Fly” Invitational, helping her team to a first-place finish.
