Traffic signal work will prompt lane closures on Banning Road


The Ohio Department of Transportation announced upcoming lane closures for traffic signal maintenance in Hamilton County this week. Beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, ODOT contractors will install a signal strain pole foundation at the intersection of U.S. 27 and Banning Road. The right lane of westbound Banning Road will be closed for a short period of time during the installation. Officials say traffic will be maintained throughout the area, and all work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. Officials advise motorists to stay alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic when passing through a work zone.
