Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor spoke about linebacker Joseph Ossai on "The Season with Peter Schrager" podcast with the NFL Network reporter, and explained that "what's great about Joseph is his passion for the game and his effort on every single play."
"More times than not, that's gonna pay off in a really positive way for you," Taylor continued. "He's an effort player. He never gives up. He gives everything he's got on every snap. And so, he'll learn from that. He'll be on that stage again someday making great plays for us to help us get to that next level. And I think he'll have a great appreciation for what happened on Sunday when he gets to that point. … Awesome, awesome guy. Very passionate about football. He's all in. Just wants to be great, wants to help the team. And really did a great job growing in his role this year. He's fought through some injuries - really was on IR last year as a rookie, because he got hurt in the Tampa Bay preseason game. He's fought through injuries over the course of his career. And he was really starting to hit his stride the latter point of the season. And playing good football on Sunday. You know, he made some great plays for us. And so, again, he's got a really bright future for us."
