Cincinnati Bearcats legend Travis Kelce has already mastered the game of football, having won two Super Bowls in four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, he's making a play for comedy.
Kelce will host NBC's "Saturday Night Live" March 4, the tight end announced on "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" Thursday. Country singer Kelsea Ballerini will be the musical guest.

"I was a huge (Chris) Farley, (Will) Ferrell, Fallon kind of guy growing up," Kelce said. "And I used to watch 'Saturday Night Live' with my mother. It's an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting 'SNL' March 4th."
Although he's excited to host the sketch-comedy show, Kelce said he is nervous about his appearance. But an excited Fallon quickly dismissed his fears.
"You are going to be so good. I was talking to ('SNL' creator Lorne Michaels) today, and I'm like, 'He's so charming, and he can sing, and he's fun,'" Fallon said, to which Kelce replied, "You're making me blush."

Kelce will host "Saturday Night Live" March 4 at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The episode will also be available to stream on Peacock.
