A WIND ADVISORY is in place for the WLWT viewing area from 2 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Saturday. Wind gusts to 50 mph are possible. A HIGH WIND WARNING has been issued for Northern Kentucky from 2 p.m. Friday until 4 a.m. Saturday. Wind advisories remain for places north of the Ohio River.These storms will be arriving during school pick-up hours. Those of us that see severe storms will run the risk for isolated tornadoes and damaging winds on either side of 75 mph ahead of our cold front. The higher tornado threat will be along and south of the Ohio River Friday. Highs will be near 62 and strong, non-thunderstorm wind gusts up to 50-60+ mph will be widespread behind this line of storms during the evening. Rain tapers off later Friday night and it becomes cold with lows falling to the mid 30s.The weekend brings highs near 50 both days and lows in the 30s.Keep an eye on Monday's forecast. We may again be faced with evening thunderstorms.
