Fans of Mikesell's potato chips will have two days to buy the snack from the sold-off company this week.
Dayton-based brand Mikesell's sold to Conn's Potato Chips Co., Inc. earlier this month. In a statement, Conn's said it would start manufacturing Mikesell's-branded snacks at its Zanesville, Ohio, facility Feb. 13.
Conn's subsidiary obtained a license to Mikesell's brand rights, the company said, allowing it to produce Mikesell's-branded snack foods and use the same recipes, which gained Mikesell's a large following in its 112 years in business.
The brand's potato chips will continue to be sold by Conn's, but fans who want to buy them directly from Mikesell's will have one last chance this week. Here's what to know.
