Bourbon fans can win five exclusive bottles in a raffle for charity next month.
Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana is raffling off a collection of bourbons March 11. The organization, which grants wishes for children with critical illnesses, is currently selling $100 raffle tickets.
One winner will receive the following bourbons:
- 12-year-old Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot B.
- Horse Soldier Commander's Select 13-Year Bourbon Whiskey in a signed box.
- A signed bottle of Horse Soldier Straight Bourbon.
- W.L. Weller 12-Year.
- Blanton’s Green Label Special Reserve.
The total fair market value of the bourbons is $2,448, Katie Ferrell, director of marketing and communications for the Make-A-Wish chapter, said.

How to buy tickets
Tickets for the raffle will be sold until noon March 11. Buy them now online at oki.wish.org/bourbonlover.
Entrants must be 21 years or older to buy a ticket, and there is no limit to how many tickets you can purchase. Raffle tickets with unique numbers will be distributed to entrants the week leading up to the drawing.
When is the drawing?
The winner of the raffle will be announced at a drawing 9 p.m. March 11 at the Ice House event venue in Louisville, Kentucky.
Due to Kentucky state law, the bourbon bottles cannot be shipped and must be picked up by the winner or their designated representative. The winner can collect their prize either at the drawing event or at the Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana Louisville office, located at 1230 Liberty Bank Lane, Suite 300 in Louisville.
What does the raffle benefit?
Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana is the largest chapter of the national wish-granting organization, according to a press release. The chapter will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year by granting its 20,000th wish.
Proceeds from the raffle will allow the organization to "grant more life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses," the release said.
