A fire in Bond Hill Monday evening caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to a two-story, multi-family residence.There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters.According to a release from the Cincinnati Fire Department, crews were dispatched to 4563 Paddock Road at 8:19 p.m., for a report of an automobile fire.Upon arrival, first responders discovered the burning vehicle close to the building and impinging on the structure.A neighbor alerted the occupants to the fire prior to CFD's arrival, and residents safely self-evacuated. Firefighters identified a working fire at the rear of the structure in the vehicle parked outside a basement-level, two-car garage.(Watch the headlines from the 6 p.m. in the video player above)The fire had extended up a back wall toward both floors of the building but was quickly knocked down by firefighters.Firefighters entered the building and determined the blaze had not spread to the interior of the structure, and no one was inside. They then worked to clear the smoke and remove any combustible materials from the building.No occupants were displaced as a result of the fire.Paddock Road was shut down in the area around the fire for more than two hours, and a Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit remained on the scene late Monday evening.
