The Big East Tournament is back at Madison Square Garden for the 41st consecutive season, and this year figures to have one of the most wide-open brackets in history.
The league has seven teams with double-digit conference wins: Marquette, Xavier, Providence, Creighton, Connecticut, Seton Hall and Villanova.
Top-seeded Marquette has never won a Big East tournament title. If Villanova were to go back-to-back in the conference tourney, it would be the Wildcats’ sixth championship in eight tries. Only Seton Hall in 2016 and Georgetown in 2021 won during Villanova’s run of dominance.
