Chance of weekend snow
We get a brush of winter weather this weekend.
CONTRACTORS WHO ARE AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW AND GOOD ONES, TOO. ALL RIGHT. IN THE LAST TEN DAYS, THE 14 DAYS, ALLISON, WE’VE HAD THREE TORNADOES IN THE AREA, ONE CLAREMONT, TWO HIGHLAND, 75 DEGREE WEATHER. WE’VE HAD ALL KINDS OF THINGS. WE’VE HAD RAIN AND NOW WE MIGHT EVEN GET SOME SNOW. MIGHT AS WELL THROW SOME SNOW IN THERE, RIGHT? IF YOU’RE GETTING EVERYTHING ELSE. AND OF COURSE, NOW THAT IT’S MARCH, WE ARE GETTING THAT WINTER WEATHER, WHICH YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT LAST MONTH. BUT HERE WE ARE. SO RIGHT NOW, TEMPERATURES ARE SITTING AROUND 36 DEGREES. WE STILL HAVE SOME CLOUDS AROUND. BY MORNING, WE ARE DRY OUTSIDE AND TEMPERATURES ARE CLOSER TO 30. BUT THERE IS STILL GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE TOMORROW MORNING. SO THAT 30 FEELS MORE LIKE 20 AT TIMES. SO BUNDLE UP IF YOU’RE HEADED OUT EARLY IN THE MORNING TOMORROW. OTHERWISE, WE’VE GOT GENERALLY DRY SKIES AROUND CINCINNATI RIGHT NOW. HOWEVER, LOTS OF CLOUD COVER AROUND AND I’D SAY MOST OF WHAT YOU’RE SEEING HERE ON SATELLITE AND RADAR OVER THE LAST 6 HOURS, A LOT OF IT DIDN’T MAKE IT QUITE DOWN TO THE GROUND. BUT IF ANY LED TO A LITTLE BIT OF A LET A WET ROAD. NOW, HIGH PRESSURE IN CONTROL AND WE ARE GOING TO SEE THAT AND CONTROL FOR THE REST OF THE DAY TOMORROW. THAT’S WHY TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A NICE DRY DAY FOR US. HOWEVER, TOMORROW NIGHT, EVERYTHING STARTS TO CHANGE AS A STORM CENTER BEGINS TO APPROACH. IT’S GOING TO ORGANIZE OVER THE NEXT 12 TO 24 HOURS, APPROACHING US ABOUT THIS TIME TOMORROW NIGHT AND THEN SNOW WILL FALL OVERNIGHT SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. SUNDAY MORNING IS GOING TO BE A WEATHER IMPACT. MORNING, BUT REALLY MUCH OF SUNDAY, I THINK, IS GOING TO BE IMPACTED BY THIS, EVEN THOUGH WE AREN’T GOING TO SEE MUCH SNOW AS WE GET INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS SOUTHERN TO LINGER A LITTLE BIT. THERE IS THAT POTENTIAL AS WELL THAT WE WIND UP SEEING AS SPOTTY ISOLATED SHOWERS STILL LINGERING ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON OR EVENING. BUT FOR THE MOST PART, A LOT OF THE ACTION COMES LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. SO HERE WE ARE IN FEATURE CARS. FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING. WE HAVE SOME CLOUD COVER AROUND. AND I DO THINK SOME OF YOUR SATURDAY MORNING LOOKS TO BE A LITTLE BIT CLOUDY. NOW, THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE DAY, WE’LL BEGIN TO SEE SOME SUNSHINE JUST IN TIME FOR THE SAINT PATTY’S PARADE. AND IF YOU’RE HANGING OUT DOWNTOWN AFTER THE PARADE, LOOKS LIKE A REALLY DECENT AFTERNOON AROUND. IN FACT, THIS IS THE NICEST IT’S GOING TO BE ALL WEEKEND LONG. WE’LL GET SOME SUNSHINE MIXED IN WITH SOME CLOUD COVER IN THE AFTERNOON MOON ON SATURDAY, WITH TEMPERATURES TOPPING OUT AROUND 44. NOW, SATURDAY NIGHT, EVERYTHING STARTS TO CHANGE INITIALLY AS THIS SYSTEM MOVES IN, MIGHT MOVE IN AS SOME BRIEF RAIN REALLY COLD RAIN, THOUGH. AND THEN IT’S GOING TO SWITCH OVER TO SNOWFALL. FOR MOST OF US, ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE ALONG IN NORTH OF THE OHIO RIVER. BUT AREAS SOUTH OF THE 7175 SPLIT DOWN HERE TOWARD WALTON. DRY RIDGE FOUND WITH BROOKSVILLE. OH, AND TIM, YOU LIKELY ARE GOING TO SEE MORE OF THAT WINTRY MIX MIXING IN WITH SOME COLD RAIN, ESPECIALLY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. FUTURE CASTS NOT BUYING INTO THAT SCENARIO VERY MUCH IN THE LAST HOUR OR SO, BUT I DO THINK WE ARE STILL GOING TO SEE SOME CHANGES WITH FEATURE CAST IN THE NEXT 12 HOURS OR EVEN AS THIS SYSTEM STARTS TO MOVE IN HERE. SO RIGHT NOW, IT STILL IS LOOKING LIKE, AGAIN ALONG THE NORTHEAST, OHIO RIVER. MOSTLY A SNOWFALL, A WET SNOW. AND THEN FOR AREA SOUTH OF THE 7175 SPLIT, YOU GET MORE OF THAT WINTRY MIX AND RAIN THAT’S GOING TO CUT BACK ON YOUR TOTALS, SIGNIFY CANTLEY. NOW, NOBODY IS GOING TO GET A TON OF SNOW FROM THIS SYSTEM, BUT IT DOES LOOK LIKE WE AT LEAST ARE GOING TO SEE SOME OF THOSE HIGHER TOTALS LINING UP FOR AREAS CLOSER TO I-70. ANYWHERE FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE HERE. AND THEN FOR PRETTY MUCH HAMILTON COUNTY, EAST AND WEST AND SOME OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY AS WELL. YOU COULD GET UP TO ABOUT AN INCH OF SNOW THEN FOR THOSE AREAS THAT WIND UP SEEING MORE OF THAT WINTRY MIX, YOU’RE ONLY GOING TO PICK UP MAYBE A TRACE OR SO OF SNOWFALL. BUT AGAIN, IF THE TRACK CHANGES, THEN THIS IS ALSO GOING TO CHANGE. SO I WOULD SAY CHECK BACK IN OVER THE WEEKEND, MAKE SURE NO ALTERATIONS NEED TO BE MADE. BUT FOR TOMORROW, 40 IN THE MORNING OR FOR MIDDAY FOR THE PARADE AS IT STEPS OFF AROUND NOON IN THE AFTERNOON. IF YOU’RE HEADED OUT TO WIND FEST LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. 44 OUTSIDE AND THEN IF YOU WERE GOING TO FC CINCINNATI 80. TEMPERATURES BACK DOWN TO ABOUT 40. KEEP IN MIND IF YOU PLAN TO STAY OUT PAST 11:00 TOMORROW NIGHT, YOU’LL NEED TO BRING A RAINCOAT OR SOME SORT OF HEAVIER COAT AS WE START TO SEE THE INITIAL ROUNDS OF SOME RAIN AND SNOW MOVING IN. SUNDAY, OF COURSE, IS A WEATHER IMPACT DAY THAT WE COULD SEE SOME MORE FLURRIES AROUND HERE ON MONDAY. MIKE AND TERRY. ALL RIGHT, ALISO
