Bengals sign LT Orlando Brown Jr. to massive 4-year contract


Four-time Pro Bowl tackle and Super Bowl champ Orlando Brown Jr. has signed a four-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.The deal, initially reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero on Wednesday, was made official by the Bengals Friday afternoon. In his initial report, Pelissero said Brown was signing a deal worth $64.092 million front-loaded deal with the Bengals that includes an over $31 million signing bonus. It would be the largest contract ever for an offensive lineman. Pelissero said Brown’s agent, Michael Portner, confirmed the deal. The move comes after the Bengals' roster has seen some major changes including TE Hayden Hurst and S Von Bell who will both reportedly sign with the Carolina Panthers.Germaine Pratt re-signed with Cincinnati for a three-year, $21 million deal. A third-round pick by the Bengals in the 2019 draft, Pratt recorded career bests in interceptions (two) and total tackles (99) and tackle assists (49). His 99 total tackles were second on the team, behind only Logan Wilson, and his 49 assists were the most on the squad, nine ahead of Wilson's 40.
