Amber Alert canceled for children in stolen vehicle out of Zanesville


An Amber Alert issued for two children who were inside a stolen vehicle from Zanesville was canceled just after 8 p.m. Thursday. According to the alert, a 3-year-old and 1-year-old were in the backseat of a SUV that was left running outside of gas station located at 531 Main Street. The NBC affiliate in Columbus reports, "The toddler and infant were taken in an unlocked vehicle outside a gas station ... The children were later located with the driver, according to Zanesville police. Police did not say whether the driver was being brought into custody or questioned." There is no description of the suspect at this time. If anyone sees the vehicle or children, please contact the Zanesville Police Department at (740) 455-0738.
