Major League Baseball returns to Great American Ball Park this week with the Cincinnati Reds' home opener.
Opening Day, an unofficial holiday here in the Queen City, takes places Thursday. For their first game of the 2023 season, the Reds take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at 4:10 p.m.
Cincinnatians can celebrate the return of baseball throughout the day, from bar festivities to the annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade. If you're planning on attending the game, resale tickets are still available on Ticketmaster and StubHub, starting at around $50.
Are you wanting to watch the game on TV or stream it at home? We have you covered. The Reds' home opener will be broadcast by Bally Sports Ohio and simulcast on Local 12 (WKRC-TV). The Bally Sports Ohio broadcast team returns this season, along with the addition of former WCPO 9 (WCPO-TV) anchor Kathrine Nero during select games.
