Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers from the Lebanon Post are investigating a single-vehicle, fatal crash that occurred at 3:07 a.m., Monday on Hart Road near Miller Road.
Shawn Mitchell, 17, of Lebanon was traveling southbound on Hart Road in a 2002 Honda Civic, according to an OSHP release. A preliminary investigation showed that Mitchell drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Turtlecreek Township Fire/EMS assisted the highway patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Ohio State Highway Patrol Post.
