The Cincinnati Reds and pitcher Hunter Greene have agreed to a massive six-year contract extension worth more than $50 million, the team confirmed Tuesday.The $53 million contract is guarunteed through the 2028 season and includes a $21 million club option, $2 million buyout, for 2029."The commitment we made to Hunter reflects his commitment to this organization and to our community," Reds Chief Executive Officer Bob Castellini said in a statement. "He is part of the foundation of young players who will continue to help us build a successful Major League team."Green, 23, was the first pitcher 25 or under to start for the Reds on pening ay since 1980.
