Nearly 80 food vendors will line Fifth Street this Memorial Day Weekend for this year's Taste of Cincinnati.An event-high 77 food vendors - 36 restaurants, 23 food trucks and 18 Findlay Market vendors - will combine to serve over 300 menu items this year.Specific food items will be announced later this month.“It’s amazing that such a longstanding event continues to grow,” said Rob Weidle, Sr. Event Producer for Taste of Cincinnati, in a press release. “This year, we had the highest number of applications in the event's history – 20% more than the previous year, which at the time was also a record for the event.”Taste of Cincinnati will hold a food truck preview event on Thursday, May 4 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Court Street Plaza downtown.
