A chill in the air and slow to warm back up

Thursday weather planner: A chill in the air and slow to warm back up

BURNISTON TO BE ABLE TO BE T NEWS 5, ANOTHER ICON OF CINCINNATI SET TO OPEN UP AND RANDY THAT WE TALK ABOUT THIS COOLNESS. YOU KNOW, WE TALK ABOUT A SUMMER STORY AND ADAM’S GOT HIS PUFFER JACKET. I KNOW. IT WAS LIKE IT WAS IT GLARING RIGHT? YOU LAY YOUR STANDARD LIKE THE SUNLIGHT FOR A TANK TOP. NOPE. WINTER COAT. THIS MORNING, THOUGH, ADAM, WE’RE HAPPY YOU’RE STAYING WARM. ALL RIGHT, EXACTLY. AND BUT THE WARMTH IS GOING TO BE RETURNING RIGHT? THAT’S THE GOOD NEWS. BY THE TIME WE GET TO THE WEEKEND. THE POOLS ARE GOING TO BE PACKED. ONCE THEY GET OPEN, RIGHT? LOOK AT THE TEMPERATURES. THEY’LL BE CLOSE TO 80 DEGREES THROUGH THE WEEKEND. AND NEXT WEEK, 90 DEGREES IS NOT OUT OF THE REALM OF POSSIBILITY. SO WE’LL GET THERE JUST NOT TODAY OR TOMORROW MORNING. SAME THING. IT’S JUST A LITTLE BIT CHILLY HERE THIS MORNING IN THE WAKE OF YESTERDAY’S COLD FRONT. RIGHT. YOU PROBABLY FELT THE BREEZE PICK UP YESTERDAY EVENING. THAT WAS THE COLD FRONT ROLLING IN. AND TODAY WILL BE BREEZY AND COOLER THAN IT’S BEEN. WE’RE GOING TO MAKE IT INTO THE VERY LOW SEVENTIES THIS AFTERNOON. BUT THROUGH THE DAY, A STEADY 15, MAYBE 20 MILE AN HOUR WINDS. SO IT’S GOING TO SEEM MORE LIKE EITHER EARLY SPRING OR EARLY FALL, DEPENDING ON YOUR PREFERENCE. BUT DEFINITELY DOESN’T FEEL LIKE SUMMERTIME TODAY, TOMORROW, A CHILLY START. IN FACT, WE COULD HAVE COMMUNITIES IN THE 40 IS TO START THE DAY ON FRIDAY BUT THEN SEASONABLY WARM WE KIND OF GET BACK TO WHERE WE SHOULD BE IN THE MID SEVENTIES AND THEN MEMORIAL WEEKEND WE’RE LOOKING TRENDING DRY AND WARMING UP. SO TEMPERATURE IS HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. RAIN GENERALLY STAYING OUT OUR REGION RIGHT NOW, WE’RE LOOKING AT 54 DEGREES WITH THOSE WINDS SUSTAINED AT 16 MILES PER HOUR. WE’VE HAD GUSTS 20, 25 MILES AN HOUR. SO IT IS DEFINITELY A BREEZY START TO THE DAY, BUT AT LEAST IT’S DRY AND AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT THE PLANNER FOR TODAY, YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE THOSE TEMPERATURES THAT WILL BE CLIMBING UP ONLY INTO THE LOW SEVENTIES AND KEEPING THOSE SUSTAINED WINDS. 15 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR AT TIMES. SO EVEN THOUGH IT’S 70 DEGREES, IT’LL FEEL A LITTLE BIT COOLER THAN THAT, RIGHT, JUST BECAUSE OF THE BREEZE. SO WANT TO SHOW YOU THE REGION HERE BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE PLANS HERE AT HOME OR IF YOU DRIVE A LITTLE BIT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. SO RUN HAS PASSED US BY. IT IS SINKING TO THE SOUTH. HIGH PRESSURE IS GOING TO BUILD IN THE NORTH AND THAT MEANS MICHIGAN, OHIO, INDIANA, ILLINOIS ALL LOOKING LIKE GOOD CHOICES HERE AS WE HEAD INTO THE START OF THE WEEKEND. WE HAVE MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES. THAT AREA OF LOW PRESSURE THAT’S GOING TO CREEP UP THE EAST COAST. IT’LL TOSS US SOME CLOUDS, BUT YOU CAN SEE THE RAIN FROM THE CAROLINAS INTO VIRGINIA, WEST VIRGINIA AND EASTERN KENTUCKY IN GENERAL, STAYING OUT OF OUR AREA. I THINK LEXINGTON COULD SEE SOME RAIN THIS WEEKEND, BUT WE’LL STAY DRY HERE AT HOME TODAY. 72 DEGREES, MOSTLY SUNNY BUT GUSTY WINDS AND GENERALLY KEEPING IT ON THE COOLER SIDE. WE’LL DROP DOWN 47 TONIGHT. BREEZY AND COOL. AND THEN LOOKING AHEAD TOMORROW, ABOUT 73 TO 75. SO LOW TO MID SEVENTIES, KIND OF GETTING BACK ON TRACK. AND BY THE TIME WE GET TO THE WEEKEND, HIGH TEMPERATURES NEAR 80 EVERY DAY DEALING UP THE HUMIDITY BY MONDAY AND NEXT WEEK, HOT AND HUMID WITH TEMPERATUR
