Sunshine and warmer days ahead of holiday weekend

Weekly weather planner: Sunshine and warmer days ahead of holiday weekend

PICTURE PERFECT WEEKEND. I THINK IT’S FAIR TO SAY THAT. YEAH, I AGREE. YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. THAT RAIN ON FRIDAY NIGHT STAYED UNTIL LATE. IT WAS ALMOST MIDNIGHT WHEN IT GOT HERE. YOU KNOW, AS YOU’RE HEADED OUT EARLY ON SATURDAY MORNING, WE HAD THE RAIN SHOWERS. BUT AFTER THAT I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THOSE RAIN SHOWERS. I WAS JUST GOING TO SAY YOU SAID THAT I WAS LIKE, YEAH, IT DID HAPPEN SATURDAY WAS AWESOME. AND WAS YEAH, IT WAS LIKE A COUPLE HOURS SATURDAY MORNING. THAT WAS IT. AND THAT WAS NICE. WE’RE LOOKING AHEAD THIS COMING WEEKEND AND IT’S A THREE DAY WEEKEND AND OUR RAIN CHANCES MINIMAL AT BEST. SO WE ARE LOOKING NICE AND QUIET HERE. TEMPERATURES TODAY, TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, SLOWLY CLIMBING UP IN THROUGH THE 80. AND THEN AS FAR AS THE SKY GOES, PLENTY OF SUNSHINE ON THE WAY THROUGH THE WEEK. WELL, HAZY AT TIMES COURTESY OF SOME CANADIAN WILDFIRES AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT’S GOING ON RIGHT NOW TO START OUT THE MORNING, WE’RE SITTING AT 55 DEGREES. NOT A BAD STARTING POINT, OBVIOUSLY. LITTLE BIT COOL. IT MAY WANT A LIGHT JACKET HERE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS, BUT THOSE TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB PRETTY QUICKLY AS WE LOOK AT THE DAY PLANNER HERE AT 9 A.M., YOU’RE LOOKING AT 63 DEGREES AT NOON, 75 MID-AFTERNOON. WE SHOULD BE INTO THE UPPER SEVENTIES. NOTHING BUT SUNNY SKIES IN THAT FORECAST FOR US TODAY. LIVE RADAR SHOWING THINGS ARE QUIET ACROSS OUR LOCAL AREA. I’LL EXPAND THE VIEW. A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING TO BE FOUND SO HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING IN FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS THAT IS GOING TO KEEP OUR SKIES. GENERAL LAKE CLEAR. BUT YOU CAN SEE THE LATEST AS FAR AS THE SMOKE AND FIRE GOES, KIND OF DEEPER, GRAY COLOR INDICATES A LITTLE THICKER BIT OF THAT. HEY, IS THIS IS SMOKE THAT IS UP IN SOME OF THOSE CANADIAN WILDFIRES? IT GETS LOFTED WELL UP INTO OUR ATMOSPHERE. SO IT PRODUCES ACTUALLY SOME PRETTY VIVID SUNRISES AND SUNSETS. AND WE’RE LOOKING THIS EVENING, YOU KNOW, HAVING JUST A MODERATE HAZE IN OUR AREA. NOW, THE NEXT WE’RE ALSO LOOKING UP TOWARD CANADA FOR IS A COLD FRONT THAT WILL ARRIVE LATE WEDNESDAY. BUT BECAUSE WE’RE GOING TO HAVE HIGH PRESSURE HERE AND DRY CONDITIONS, THIS THING IS GOING TO DROP IN THROUGH MICHIGAN WITH SOME RAIN, BUT THEN FIZZLE OUT AS IT MOVES IN. SO THIS IS EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. YOU CAN SEE THAT FRONT DROPPING IN AND DRYING OUT AS IT MAKES IT TO CINCINNATI. SO IF YOU LOOK AT THE NUMBERS IN THE SEVEN DAY, YOU’LL NOTICE A BIG DROP IN THE TEMPERATURE ON THURSDAY. BUT NO RAIN TO TRIGGER THAT TEMPERATURE DROP. IT’LL BE A DRY FRONT WITH A WIND SHIFT AND THAT’S WHY OUR TEMPERATURES THURSDAY KIND OF SEEM LIKE THE OUTLIER THIS WEEK. TODAY WILL MAKE IT UP TO 79 DEGREES. IT’S A SUNNY START, A FEW CLOUDS IN THE AFTERNOON, ALL IN ALL, REALLY COMFORTABLE TONIGHT. WE DROPPED DOWN TO 56 AND THEN LOOKING AHEAD FOR TOMORROW, WE JUMP UP INTO THE EIGHTIES. WEDNESDAY LOOKS NICE AS WELL. AND THEN IT’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT THAT THAT FRONT COMES THROUGH AGAIN, A DRY FRONT. IT BASICALLY JUST SHIFTS. THE WINDS WILL BE BREEZY ON THURSDAY AND YOU CAN SEE TEMPERATURES ONLY TOPPING OUT AT 72. BUT WE’RE TRENDING RIGHT BACK UP INTO THE UPPER SEVENTIES FOR THE WEEKEND. AND ACTUALLY MID EIGHTIES ON MEMORIAL DAY, ONE WEEK FROM TODAY.
