Still Muggy For Mother's Day
ANYTHING ELSE. SO, YEAH, WE HAD THE ONE ROUND OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS KIND OF RUMBLE THROUGH, BUT THE BULK OF THE DAY WAS DRY AND REALLY MUGGY, JUST HUMID OUTSIDE. OH, MY GOODNESS. SO MANY. I WAS GOING THROUGH MY SOCIAL FEEDS AND SO MANY SCHOOLS HAD PROM TONIGHT. TRYING TO KEEP THE HAIR, YOU KNOW, LOOKING AMAZING WITH ALL THE HUMIDITY. THAT WAS PROBABLY ALL. I WORRY ABOUT THAT. CURTIS, I KNOW. ALWAYS LOOKING GOOD. JUST SO YOU KNOW, THE ALL TO ALL TO STRANDS HERE. OH, ALL RIGHT. TOMORROW MOTHER’S DAY, HUH? YEAH. AND YOU KNOW, IT’S GOING TO BE A DRIER DAY FOR US. I DON’T THINK THE HUMIDITY GOES AWAY COMPLETELY, BUT IT PROBABLY TAKES A LITTLE BIT OF A STEP BACK. SO FOR ALL THE PHOTOS YOU TAKE TAKEN WITH THE KIDS TOMORROW, IT’LL BE A BETTER LOOK, I THINK. LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT’S COMING OUR WAY HERE AS WE GO THROUGH MOTHER’S DAY AND INTO NEXT WEEK FOR TOMORROW. MOSTLY CLOUDY, STILL MUGGY AND WARM. I THINK THE HUMIDITY TAKES A LITTLE BIT OF A STEP BACK. BUT AGAIN, DOESN’T WASH AWAY COMPLETELY. NEXT WEEK. THERE’S A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN EARLY MONDAY MORNING. WE’RE TALKING PROBABLY BEFORE 8 A.M. AND THEN THE HUMIDITY GOES AWAY AND THINGS LOOKING COMFORTABLE AND THE SUNSHINE WILL RETURN FOR US AS WE GO THROUGH THE EARLY TO MID PART OF NEXT WEEK. LOOKING AT THE LIVE RADAR RIGHT NOW, YOU CAN SEE THINGS ARE QUIET OVER THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS. WE’VE SEEN OUR SHOWERS FADE. AND IF WE ZOOM THIS OUT TO SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE, YOU’LL SEE THE RAIN GENERALLY SCOOTING TOWARD LOUISVILLE. SO THE BULK OF ANY SORT OF RAIN TOMORROW STAYS TO OUR WEST. I THINK IF WE HAVE ANY SHOT OF SEEING MAYBE A PASSING SHOWER IN THE OVERNIGHT HOURS, FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING, YOU COULD SEE IT’S KIND OF CONFINED TO OUR SOUTHWEST FOR MOST COMMUNITIES, FOR MOST OF US. YOU’LL JUST NOTICE THE CLOUDS ARE STILL AROUND AND THE HUMIDITY HASN’T QUITE CLEAR. SO YOU KNOW, IT’S 11:00 AT NIGHT AND IT’S STILL BASICALLY 70 DEGREES. THOSE DEW POINTS STILL IN THE SIXTIES. SO FEELING MUGGY, NOT AS BAD AS EARLIER TODAY, BUT STILL A HUMID FEEL AS WE GO THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WE’RE DROPPING DOWN TO ABOUT 59 DEGREES HERE IN CINCINNATI. SO WE ALWAYS SAY, YOU KNOW, WAIT TILL AFTER MOTHER’S DAY TO DO YOUR PLANTING BECAUSE FROM HERE ON OUT, YOU’RE NOT LOOKING AT THOSE LOWS, DROPPING DOWN TO THE THIRTIES. THERE’S BEEN MAYBE THREE OR FOUR DAYS IN THE LAST MULTIPLE DECADES WHERE OUR TEMPERATURES HAVE DIPPED BELOW FREEZING AFTER MOTHER’S DAY. SO YOU’RE GOOD TO GO. AND IF YOU WANT TO SPEND THE DAY PLANTING TOMORROW, GETTING THE YARD LOOKING GOOD, IT’S GOING TO BE A NICE DAY FOR IT. PLAN ON MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, 7 A.M. WILL BE AT 60 DEGREES INTO THE AFTERNOON UPPER SEVENTIES WITH OUR HIGH TOMORROW RIGHT AROUND 80 OR SO AS FAR AS ANY SORT OF RAIN REALLY NO IMPACT FROM ANY SORT OF SHOWERS ON SUNDAY WE’LL HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN AROUND FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING, BUT IT SCOOTS OUT QUICKLY AND THEN IT LOOKS NICE AND COMFORTABLE FOR TUESDAY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY FOR TONIGHT. 59 FOR A LOW, CLOUDY SKIES, STILL PRETTY MUGGY. AND FOR YOUR MOTHER’S DAY TOMORROW, 80 DEGREES FOR A HIGH, MOSTLY CLOUDY, ISOLATED SHOWER CHANCE KIND OF CONFINED TO THE SOUTH AND WEST. MOST PLACES JUST KIND OF WAITING ON THAT HUMIDITY TO DROP OFF. ON MONDAY, WE WAKE UP TO SOME SHOWERS, BUT THEY QUICKLY MOVE OUT TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, ALL SUNSHINE WARMING UP AGAIN ON THURSDAY. AND OUR NEXT CHANCE FOR WIDESPREAD RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS COMES IN ON FRIDAY. WELL, STILL AHEAD, AN E
