The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says sign adjustments on Interstate 71/75 require overnight lane closures in Covington. Crews will impart a double-lane closure on northbound I-71/75 from the Cut in the Hill at mile point 190 to the Brent Spence Bridge approach beginning at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24. Restrictions will allow crews to adjust highway signs between the Fifth and 12th street exits in Covington. Officials say the project area will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 25. Construction signs and mobile message boards will be in place in both directions of the interstate to warn motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
