

TQL Stadium, home to FC Cincinnati, is debuting a new feature that marks a first for professional stadiums in the state of Ohio.Debuting Wednesday night for the Orange and Blue's match against CF Montreal, fans can head to the new SuperBook Marketplace, a concession stand run on Amazon's Just Walk Out technology that is intended to make getting food or a drink a quicker experience."We continually work to improve our fan experience at TQL Stadium, and faster checkout is a high priority," said co-CEO of FC Cincinnati, Jeff Berding, in a press release. "We are proud to be the first professional sports stadium in the state to offer this cutting-edge technology to our fans and allow them to get back to the match faster."Located in Section 116, SuperBook Marketplace will offer LaRosa's Pizza, chicken sandwiches, snacks and a selection of beer, wine, seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages.Fans can enter SuperBook Marketplace by using their credit card or hovering their palm over an Amazon One device to enter. The club says Just Walk Out technology tracks which items are taken from or returned to the shelves.When leaving the marketplace, the credit card used at entry or linked to their Amazon One ID will be charged for the items they took, with no further checking out required.If fans purchase alcohol, they'll be required to show their ID to a store attendant for age verification.Customers who wish to pre-enroll with Amazon One can do so by clicking here and can complete their enrollment at an Amazon One kiosk, or enroll entirely from a kiosk, including the one outside of SuperBook Marketplace."FC Cincinnati knows their fans want to get food and beverages quickly so they don't miss much of the match, and stores with Just Walk out technology and Amazon One make it incredibly easy and convenient to do that," Jon Jenkins, VP of Just Walk Out technologies, said in a press release.
