A Cincinnati shoe store is partnering with Nike's Air Jordan to release an exclusive sneaker.Corporate, which is a shoe store located in Cincinnati's Hyde Park, has been selected as one of six retailers in the world to release Nike's exclusive shoe, Air Jordan 1 “Rebellionaire."What makes this shoe so special to Greater Cincinnati is that it was designed by Cincinnati native Eric Sandy. The sneaker was "designed for those who refuse to be denied."Air Jordan and Corporate will be hosting a release week on Monday through Saturday that will include events, the sneaker release and a grant presentation to a local young leader. Release week events take place at The Columns in Findlay Market, located at 109 West Elder St. The week of programming is "designed to highlight the city, inspire the next generation of leaders and creatives, as well as bring our community closer together."Monday will be a media and influencer preview day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday will feature morning workshops from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and evening workshops from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Workshop topics include Resilience presented by Matt Tomamichel, Rebellionaire presented by Payton Smith, Getting Organized presented by Allen Woods, Getting Out Your Dreams by Erikka Grey and Design notes by Rebellionaire designer Eric Sandy.The Air Jordan 1 Rebellionaire sneaker will then be released to the public on Saturday at 8 a.m. with events lasting until 6 p.m. and then a gala from 8 to 10 p.m.To learn more or RSVP to events during the release week, click here.
