Six of the 24 Division I divers who competed in the Ohio High School Athletic Association state tournament came from Cincinnati-area high schools.
Five placed in the top seven and all six finished in the state's top 10, including Walnut Hills' Elizabeth Noble who claimed the state title.
Noble entered the competition on Thursday with the fifth-highest qualifying score, but burst into the pool with the highest scores through the preliminary and semifinal dives, finishing with a final score of 491.80.

Noble's finish placed her just over 11 points on top of runner-up Mallory Hanna from Ursuline Academy, who jumped from fourth place at the end of the prelims to earn a 480.75 final score and a spot on the podium.
Both Noble and Hanna placed in front of New Albany's Emma Skinner, who entered the meet with the best qualifying score. Behind Skinner was again a local. Maria Meinhardt of St. Ursula scored a 466.45 to take the fourth-place stand on the podium.
The sixth- and seventh-place finishers also came from Cincinnati. Mason's Langely Peterson scored a 442.25 and Sycamore's Anelise Kim had a 441.75 to claim seventh. Both were less than two points from placing in the top five.
The Walnut Hills Eagles had one more finisher. Noble's teammate Elleka Boeres notched a 418.10, placing 10th.
Noble was the second Cincinnati-area diver to return home as a champion. Wyoming's Grace Courtney won the Division II title on Wednesday.
The Division I boys diving finals will go off at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton.
