For the second time, Enoteca Emilia is closing and planning to reopen as a new concept.
Owner Margaret Ranalli wrote on the Italian restaurant's social media Wednesday that it will be closing permanently March 5.
In the post, Ranalli mentioned challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, including operating in restricted hours, but said Enoteca Emilia was able to "maintain our standards of quality and hospitality."
Enoteca Emilia is located in Loveland, where it reopened after closing on Cincinnati's East Side in 2016. The new concept and menu will remain in the Loveland space, the post states, and will keep "the same commitment to flavor and hospitality."
The concept will likely be revealed in mid-March and the restaurant will relaunch in late spring this year.
Until the permanent closure March 5, Enoteca Emilia will operate with a small bar menu, happy hour prices and bottle discounts from 5-8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
