Pittsburgh radio host Colin Dunlap aroused the ire of many Cincinnati Bengals fans and media alike with a tweet Tuesday that it takes a "loser mentality" to welcome home a team that lost in the Super Bowl - as Bengals fans gathered to greet the AFC Champions upon their return from Los Angeles - adding that he'd never do that if the Steelers lost in the Super Bowl and hopes no self-respecting Steelers fan would.
The 93.7 The Fan host later suggested via Twitter that a pep rally scheduled for Wednesday at Washington Park is the equivalent of a "participation trophy."
Dunlap added with a tweet that he falls in a generation of Steelers fans that hated the Bengals and doesn't need to like what any AFC North franchises do.

Last month, Dunlap said Ft. Thomas native and former Highlands High School football player Jac Collinsworth - the son of former Bengals great Cris, who called Super Bowl 56 alongside Al Michaels - "is stunningly bad on television," adding that "there is no one more underqualified or worse at their job than the young Collinsworth."
In 2020, Dunlap said he's "a firm believer" that former Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict's hit on former Steelers receiver Antonio Brown changed Brown's life.
