
A man is facing multiple child endangerment charges after being accused of fleeing an attempted traffic stop and crashing his vehicle with two children in the car.According to court documents, 46-year-old Christopher Michels left a bar on North Bend on Sunday and sped past a police officer.Documents say the officer activated the car's lights in an attempt to stop Michels, but he continued driving until hitting a parked car and fled the scene on foot while his two children remained in the vehicle.Officials say the children were injured, but no update was given as to their condition.Michels is facing two counts of endangering a child, as well as single charges of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and stopping after an accident on public roads or highways.
