It will be a rainy start to the end of 2021, as the Cincinnati area will see the chance of showers and thunderstorms through the beginning of the week and on Saturday, New Year's Day.
Along with the rain, there will still be unseasonably warm temperatures, even after Christmas Day's high of 69 broke previous records, according to the National Weather Service.
For this time of year, the NWS said temperatures remain around 20 degrees above normal.

Monday: High near 68 and showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers. Tonight, mostly cloudy with a low around 44. A slight chance of showers before 8 p.m., then a slight chance of showers after 4 a.m.
Tuesday: High near 57 and showers, mainly after 8 a.m. Tuesday night, a low around 49. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 a.m.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, high near 59. A chance of showers before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers after 3 p.m.
Thursday: Partly sunny, high near 52.
Friday (New Year's Eve): Mostly sunny, high near 57.
Saturday (New Year's Day): Showers, high near 61.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, high near 41. A chance of rain and snow.
